Manus Mullan:

Proving to be a great learning ground, Consarc allowed him to hone his skills within the design and construction industry working on projects such as the Merchant Hotel and the NI Hospice refurbishment.

Since starting his own practice from home in 2011, Manus has worked on a number of exciting projects ranging from small one off domestic houses to large scale mixed use and commercial developments. Mullan Chartered Architects opened its Belfast studio doors in November 2014 and is striving to continue to progress its ethos of sustainable and relevant design.

In order to developed his career and stay relevant, Manus has been actively undertaking work within a variety of sectors. He has recently been successfully accredited by the international PH Institute and qualified as a certified Passive house designer. As well as this, and as a result of schemes he has recently been appointed to, he is currently undertaking the NIHE course to allow a deeper understanding of how to sympathetically deal with projects of a listed / heritage nature.
